Medical Cannabis Qualifying Conditions

These are the medical cannabis qualifying conditions for the Medical Cannabis Program as set forth by the New Mexico Department of Health:

  • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
  • Cancer
  • Crohn’s Disease
  • Damage to the nervous tissue of the spinal cord, with (proof of objective neurological indication of intractable spasticity required)
  • Epilepsy
  • Glaucoma
  • Hepatitis C Infection currently receiving antiviral treatment (proof of current anti-viral treatment required)
  • HIV / AIDS
  • Hospice Care
  • Huntington’s Disease
  • Inclusion Body Myositis
  • Inflammatory Autoimmune‐mediated Arthritis
  • Intractable Nausea/Vomiting
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Painful Peripheral Neuropathy
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Post‐Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Severe Anorexia/Cachexia
  • Severe Chronic Pain
  • Spasmodic Torticollis (Cervical Dystonia)
  • Ulcerative Colitis

 

***The State requires the patient have a Valid NM issued Photo ID or Driver’s License; Temporary or Extension IDs are not accepted.
The State also requires current copies or your medical records supporting the condition you are applying under. If you do not have copies of your records, San Juan Medical Cannabis Center can obtain the for you.
